When you contact us, you are one step closer to realizing your dream. Come on a viewing tour where we take you to several homes that suit your needs.
Property consultant Philip Sjem helps Norwegians fulfill their dream of a holiday home on the Costa Blanca in eastern Spain.
- Most of our customers are ordinary Hansens and Johansens who want a "cabin" in the heat, he says.
On the Spanish Mediterranean coast there are over 320 sunny days a year. Thousands of Norwegians have already discovered the good life in Torrevieja, Alicante and smaller surrounding places around.
Sightseeing tour on the Costa Blanca
As a property advisor in the Norwegian Costa Weflen Group, Philip is an expert in finding homes that Norwegians will feel comfortable in. Anyone who is toying with the idea of a permanent address under the Spanish sun is recommended to go on a viewing tour.
- It can be good inspiration to search on Finn.no, but it is only when you take the trip down yourself that you really experience what the various areas on the Costa Blanca are like, he says.
Costa Weflen Group has an overview of both the second-hand housing market and what is being built of new housing. Before you travel down, your advisor will find appropriate housing for you, based on your criteria.
- On the first day you are here, we present several different options with current projects and areas. In this way, the customer gains more insight and sees examples of how it is built and what can be expected. The most important thing is to first find the area you like best, says Philip.
Financing of a holiday home with legal assistance
He was recently on a viewing trip with a Norwegian woman who had long dreamed of a home in Spain. After the first day, the customer was between two homes.
- On day 2, she was asked a number of questions, and we investigated more about the homes. On day 3, we were left with one option, and then it was about getting some final clarifications made and making an offer to the seller, says Philip.
There was agreement. The holiday home buyer then meets with a lawyer and signs a reservation contract.
- We have a Swedish-speaking lawyer who takes care of the paperwork and ensures that the property purchase is completed, says Philip.
Many different types of holiday homes
The Costa Weflen Group's portfolio includes apartments, terraced houses, semi-detached houses and detached detached houses.
- We have everything from simple farmhouses to penthouses with a view of the sea, says Philip.
He points out that the dream of a holiday home in the South is by no means reserved for the few.
- 80 percent of our customers are the ordinary man in the street who buys an apartment or small detached house for 170,000-250,000 euros.
The Norwegian himself moved to the Spanish Mediterranean coast 3 years ago.
- I live in a large and old house in the mountains, approximately 40 minutes from both Alicante and Torrevieja. The beauty of the Costa Blanca is that there are many different areas and homes to choose from. You can live in the countryside, by the beach or in a bigger city, concludes Philip Sjem.
