Guardamar is a Spanish coastal town located about 10 km north of Torrevieja. The city has about 20,000 inhabitants who are mostly Spanish residents. Because of this it is still busy in the winter and got all services you need. For many, Guardamar is synonymous with the incredible beach, which extends over 12 kilometers of fine white sand. Surrounded by pine and eucalyptus forests, it makes it a unique paradise. In addition to the beach, the city has beautiful parks and many fine restaurants where many of which specialize in local food. The city's green lung, Reina Sofia Park offers a great area for recreation, children's playgrounds, outdoor scenes, ponds with turtles, and areas for different bird species.
